This warm and friendly traditional pub sits at the end of the Grassmarket in the shadow of Edinburgh Castle. Principally a sit-down pub with an emphasis on spending the evening talking and drinking, The Fiddler’s Arms serves a modern twist on traditional Scottish food which is served from opening until 10pm during the week and 9pm at the weekend. Portions are hearty and very reasonably priced; attracting tourists and locals in equal numbers. Families are welcome for food until 9:00pm.
Music is also a key feature of this establishment, with a diverse range of tastes catered for. The house whisky and ever changing “malt of the moment”, alongside music being performed acoustically in the bar, ensure a relaxed environment which is never too loud to enjoy a conversation with friends. The Fiddler’s Arms is open from 10am until 1 am every night, except during festive periods whereby the license is extended until 3am.
